A lot of miles are behind us. I retired as a Lieutentant from the Simi Valley Police Department in May of 2006 after 31 years of service. My wife and I now live in the Adirondack region of Upstate New York about 40 miles from the Canadian border. It does not look like I will be able to make it out to California this June but maybe that will change.
